Just as popular is the endless supply of restaurants and eateries. Tasty tapas,
local traditional cuisine of rabbit, lamb, fish and much more can all be savoured
during your stay. Sample authentic Spanish dishes in a picturesque country village,
enjoy a romantic meal for two at sunset or stroll along the main streets of Ibiza
Town and select from a plethora of dining venues offering seafood or typical Brit
favourites.
Holidays to Ibiza are not short of variation. All manner of cuisine is
available to cater for all types of holidaymakers from family friendly, romantic or
youth orientated. Typical Mediterranean, Mexican, Indian and French, Italian and a
fusion of global specialities are created, so whatever your preference, Ibiza is
bound to satisfy.
Shopping in Ibiza is one of many popular attractions and activities. Here you will
find anything from small designer boutiques to every day bargain stalls and street
vendors. Expensive and luxury one off items to mass market products, tourists will
love the wide range of provisions. In addition to shopping, there are also many
architectural sightseeing opportunities such as Ibiza Town’s medieval castle, the
Can Marca Caves and an abundance of charming sleepy villages, all as part of your
relaxing Ibiza holiday.
Try scuba diving or jet skiing, hire a yacht and sail the
coast, or take a day out to one of the many water parks within the region. This
Balearic Island is also superb for diving, with many excellent diving schools taking
you locations offering cave dives and wreck dives. Enjoy a fantastic, relaxing and
above all, cheap holiday to Ibiza.
The weather is one of the major attractions drawing thousands to holiday in
Ibiza and the Balearics each year. Summer time brings wonderfully clear skies and
warm temperatures that can peak 35 degrees Celsius especially during the months of
July and August. The sea temperature is also enticingly warm and perfect for a wide
range of sports and activities.
On average, you can expect a peak season temperature
of between 20 and 35 degrees, perfect for hot sunny days leading to warm and
refreshing nights. Even during the winter months, you’ll find the climate pleasant
with a similarity to English spring time. Winter refers to the months of November
through to April where a warmer garment is recommended for the evening time, and
although this is off peak season, many travellers prefer this milder climate for
exploring the island.
