Fishing is a delightful way to experience Welsh scenery at its finest. The many rivers and lakes
offer coarse and game fishing and the sea fishing here is considered to be Britain’s best. An
alternative would be to explore the excellent countryside on foot stopping off for traditional
pub fare on the way. You can even take the oldest steam engine tour via Festiniog Railway up the
mountains; truly breathtaking.
There are many attractions in Wales such as Oakwood Theme Park in Pembrokeshire providing a great
day out for all the family. The inspiring Millennium Stadium hosts favoured events such as rugby
or international music concerts. Aberystwyth houses the extremely popular Magic of Life Butterfly
House, where hundreds of colourful species can be seen.
Dinorwig Power Station makes a fantastic day out and its unique creation hides a fascinating history
of machinery underneath the rolling hills. Wales offers an excellent array of castles to explore each
unique in their own design. From dungeons and turrets, history and heritage, there is a wealth of
sightseeing opportunities available.
