There are plenty of things to see in the beautiful city of Lisbon. Head to the iconic Belem
Tower, which is a symbol of the age of discovery and the city’s naval heritage. Another icon
is Jeronimos Monastery which exhibits the Manueline style, a mix between Gothic and Renaissance.
Overlooking the old city is St. George’s Castle, which is perched on top of medieval walls. It
has great views out over the rest of the city and the river Tagus.

bars, cafes and fast food places. Eating out is fun in Lisbon where you will find pastries
that have names like ‘nun’s belly’ and ‘angel’s breast’, sure to make you smile. Cod is
popular on most menus as are dishes which use the searing spices of Africa. Lapa is the place
to head for top class, expensive restaurants, while Rua de Santos de Antão has some of the
city’s best seafood.
Lisbon has no end of attractions from its wonderful buildings and architecture to its museums
and galleries. Spend time discovering all about the city, or just take a leisurely stroll
along the Parque das Nações. It is full of futuristic architecture just waiting to be explored.
