Jamaican ClimateSightseeing TripsThings to do
The weather in Jamaica is part of the attraction. Copious amounts of sunshine grace the area
and offer hours of sunbathing on the fantastic beaches. Having a tropical climate means
Jamaica is used to seeing hot and humid temperatures, long hours of daylight, and more rain
in the months of May, June, October and November. Grab your shades and sun hat the rest of
the year though for you will enjoy the alluring Jamaican weather.
With beautiful orchids and hibiscus permeating the air and a wealth of fresh food variety,
Jamaica will satiate even the most discerning of travellers. Blue Mountains, Red Hills, Long
Mountain and the famous Kingston Harbour all add to the appeal. For excursions, the Dolphin
Cove adventure is fantastic.
Shop for unique wood carvings, prints, straw items or jewellery from the many traditional
markets. Choose from romantic evening meals on the sands of the stunning beaches, or head
for a boat trip along the wonderful coastline. There is an abundance of charming products
and sights all with a Jamaican flavour. Alternatively why not go rafting on the Rio Grande
and capture magnificent views of lush tropical greenery along the way.
